The TransAC project tackles the challenge of brain drain and social stress in rural and crisis-affected regions across seven areas: Carinthia (Austria), Zenica-Doboj (Bosnia and Herzegovina), Karlovac (Croatia), Northern Bavaria (Germany), West Region (Romania), Vojvodina (Serbia), and Kharkiv (Ukraine).

Objective:
TransAC aims to make these regions more attractive for learning and living by offering training in additive manufacturing, a field with strong economic potential. The project focuses on young learners at risk of migrating and vulnerable groups such as the unemployed, women, early school leavers, older adults, and workers from carbon-based industries.

Using a transnational, triple-helix model (linking education, industry, and policy), TransAC ensures sustainable regional development without creating competition between regions. It integrates technical training with social and educational support, using advanced tools like virtual labs, mobile labs, and Coding Schools to create a flexible, learner-centered experience. The project will directly support 572 learners including school children, university students, and vulnerable individuals.
