Description:
This course CBT Strategies for Reducing Teacher Burnout equips educators with CBT strategies to manage stress, prevent burnout, and foster resilience for long-term wellbeing. It begins with understanding the causes and effects of stress and burnout in teachers, exploring how cognitive distortions like catastrophizing or overgeneralization exacerbate these issues. Participants will learn to reframe negative thoughts using CBT’s ABC model and practice mindfulness, relaxation, and grounding techniques to manage stress effectively. The course emphasizes building resilience by identifying personal strengths, adopting a growth mindset, and reframing setbacks as opportunities for growth. Practical exercises and discussions help participants develop self-care routines, set healthy boundaries, and create a balanced work-life approach. By fostering emotional regulation and resilience, participants will leave with strategies to support both their wellbeing and that of their students, creating a healthier and positive enivronment.
